Founded in 1953 by Art Weiss. Mr. Weiss was instrumental in shaping the future of El Monte and South El Monte. He was the first planning commissioner and a prominent developer of the area, having a profound and lasting influence on the business community for decades to come, facilitating business growth and success for both the entrepreneur and large corporate entities.
Ms. Sawyer earned her real estate license at just 18 years old in the state of Washington. Quickly recognizing the challenges of selling residential real estate in Seattle's depressed 1970 market, she returned to California and obtained her brokers license in record time. By age 20, she became one of the youngest women brokers in California. Throughout her career, Ms. Sawyer built an impressive client roster, representing major brands such as Marriott and Hilton Hotels, and establishing herself as a trusted leader in commercial real estate.
As the Chairman and CEO of AWIP, Matthew leads the strategic direction of the company, focusing on expansion and acquisitions in the commercial real estate sector. He manages a large volume of transactions and oversees a diverse portfolio of assets.
